Acceptance of Terms
By creating a TapVend account and using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use TapVend.
Service Description
TapVend provides a software platform for vending machine operators to accept cashless payments and manage micro market self-checkout. TapVend is a software service only — we do not manufacture or sell hardware, and we are not responsible for the physical operation of your vending machines.
Subscriptions and Billing
TapVend charges a flat monthly subscription fee based on your selected plan. We do not charge transaction fees on payments processed through our platform. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. No refunds are provided for partial months. A 14-day free trial is available for new accounts — no credit card is required to start a trial.
Machine Limits
Each subscription plan includes a maximum number of active machines. If you exceed your plan limit, you will be prompted to upgrade before adding additional machines. Enterprise plans have no machine limit.
Payments and Stripe Connect
Payment processing is facilitated through Stripe. By using TapVend, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring your Stripe account remains in good standing. TapVend is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, or Stripe account suspensions.
Acceptable Use
You may only use TapVend for lawful purposes in connection with operating vending machines and micro markets. You may not use TapVend to process payments for prohibited goods or services as defined by Stripe's terms. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Limitation of Liability
TapVend is provided as-is. We make no guarantees of uptime or availability. TapVend is not liable for lost revenue resulting from service outages, payment processing failures, or hardware malfunctions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to TapVend in the 30 days prior to any claim.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days before deletion, during which time you may request an export.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of TapVend after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
