Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your business name, email address, and phone number. We also collect transaction data generated through the TapVend platform, including payment amounts, timestamps, and machine identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the TapVend service, process payments, send service-related communications, and generate the reporting and analytics available in your dashboard. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Customer Data

When your customers use TapVend to make purchases, we collect minimal data necessary to process their payment. Anonymous guest transactions collect no personally identifiable information. Registered customers may provide an email address for purchase history.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for accounting and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at info@tapvend.io.

Third Party Services

TapVend uses the following third party services: Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for data storage and authentication, and Vercel for hosting. Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.
